Inside a maximalist Hamilton bungalow with hand-painted murals, disco balls and retro flair.

For Toronto Life’s June 2024 issue, I visited Marina Porter’s colourful, maximalist home in Hamilton, Ontario. Marina’s style is so distinct, vibrant, and fun, and extends beyond her decor to her wardrobe and personality. It was really a blast to hang out with her for a few hours! With her growing collection, Marina opened an online shop for buying and selling unique vintage pieces in 2021. Her home also features six murals that she painted herself.
